Who is answerable for your data

This site and the NAVORY service are operated by Ricardo Navarro, contact traza@tankmail.lat. Ricardo Navarro is the controller of the personal data collected through this site and the person you can write to about it. NAVORY is a trade name; there is no incorporated company behind it for now.

02

What data we collect

From the contact form on the public pages, only what you type into it:

  • —Email address (required). It is how we reply to you.
  • —Name (optional), so we know who we are writing to.
  • —The message you write (optional), plus the address of the page the form was sent from.

That form does not ask for identity documents, tax identification or payment details. We ask you not to include your own customers' data or shipment documents in the message field. This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies, and we build no profiles about you.

From the tools, if you create an account: your email address and your password — the password is stored only as a scrypt hash, never in readable text — plus a session cookie that keeps you signed in and exists for no other purpose. And whatever you save in the service: the shipment data you type, the documents you upload, the metadata read from them, your classification queries, your Box 91 descriptions, your image readings with the photos you attach, the trade scenarios you save in the simulator and your internal review notes. That material belongs to your agency and to your customers, so upload only what you are authorised to process, and bear in mind that this is an early version of the service.

03

What we use it for, and on what basis

The contact form data is used for one thing: contacting you about NAVORY, answering your message and arranging a conversation about a pilot. Account data is used to let you in and to keep your cases and queries associated with you. Whatever you save inside the service is used only to show it back to you in your own workspace: we do not use it for third-party marketing, we do not sell, rent or trade it, and we do not use your documents to build anything outside your account.

The basis is your prior, express and informed authorisation, given when you submit the form or create an account, in accordance with Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia's general personal data protection regime), its implementing decrees and article 15 of the Political Constitution of Colombia.

04

Where it is stored and who can see it

Form submissions are transmitted from this site to the Tank platform, the tool Ricardo Navarro uses to receive and manage contact requests, and Ricardo Navarro reads them there. They are not published on this site, and this site offers no page, list or public address that displays them. Processing may take place on servers located outside Colombia, which you accept when you submit the form.

Your account and everything you save in the service live in this service's own database, on the infrastructure that hosts the site, and are readable only through your own session: the site exposes no page, list or public address that shows another account's cases, queries or documents.

We disclose personal data to third parties only when a competent authority requires it in compliance with a legal obligation.

05

How long we keep it

Contact data is kept while the pilot programme is active and while it remains useful for the relationship you started with us. Account data and whatever you save in it are kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account or your data, we remove it from our records, except where a legal obligation requires us to keep it.

06

Your rights and how to exercise them

Under Ley 1581 de 2012 you may, free of charge: know what data we hold about you; update or correct it; request proof of the authorisation you gave; be informed about the use made of it; file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio; withdraw your authorisation; and request deletion of your data where the law permits.

To exercise any of these rights, write to traza@tankmail.lat from the address you registered with, stating what you want to do. Enquiries are answered within ten (10) business days, extendable by five (5) more; claims within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by eight (8) more, as provided in that law. If an answer needs more time, we will tell you why and when to expect it.

07

Security

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to prevent your data from being lost, altered or accessed without authorisation, and we limit access to the people who need it in order to reply to you. No system is completely secure, so we do not promise absolute security, and we offer no certification or guarantee beyond the measures described here.

08
